Electricity is the only source of energy used at Fermax. In 2022, we began our transition towards renewable energy through the installation of photovoltaic panels at our facilities to reduce electricity consumption. The initiative that has a positive impact on the environment, as it enables us to prevent the emission of more than 92 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
Thanks to our call divert applications, more than 132,000 people now manage access to their homes or businesses from their mobile phones every day, without needing to be physically present. This functionality not only improves accessibility but also reduces unnecessary travel and helps reduce the carbon footprint in cities.
As a manufacturing company, we are strongly committed to protecting the environment and to adopting sustainable policies that help reduce our carbon footprint. We operate under a circular economy model that enables us to reduce waste, maximise resource efficiency and improve the energy efficiency of our products and manufacturing processes.
At our 2 manufacturing centres, we manage the entire production process — from electronic components to final assembly — maintaining full control to ensure the quality, reliability and
continuous improvement of every product we supply.
